Nowadays in Saint-Petersburg museum of wax figures has more than 1000 exhibits.
     The museum collection is divided into different thematic sections. The largest section is dedicated to the Russian history. It includes figures of different famous people from first Russian rulers to the contemporary politicians.
     The collection called «World history» includes wax figures of ancient philosophers, artists of the Renaissance epoch,outstanding generals and rulers of different countries and epochs.
     The museum collection also includes complicated compositions on a biblical subjects made after famous artist’s masterpieces.
     The «Old and new myths» collection includes the figures of heroes of the ancient myths and fantastical characters made by contemporary myth-makers.
     «Cabinet of curiosities » is a collection of figures of people with different body anomalies. The figures of real persons whose names are collected in the Guinness book can be seen there.
     One of the new sections, the «History of torment and executions of 2000 years» can tell the visitors about different ways of torture in different epochs.
     Some new topics are being worked out now by the museum staff.
     Our figures travel all over Russia and CIS. The exhibitions are opened in Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Finland, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, and Ukraine.

Making models is one of the latest trends. This work means to last some years. «The seven wonders of the Ancient World» is the name of the first part of the work. The historian Herodotus made early lists of "Seven wonders". The wonders included: Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, Hanging gardens of Babylon, Colossus of Rhodes, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Great Pyramid of Giza, Lighthouse of Alexandria.
